Hello, I'm Karen, and I am delighted to welcome you to a stylishly furnished private studio on my houseboat. The studio has its own entrance and offers everything you need for a comfortable and tranquil stay. Step through the large sliding door onto your own sunny terrace with a stunning view over the water – the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee.
Your stay includes two bicycles, ideal for exploring both the serene neighborhood and the vibrant city of Amsterdam. Casa Karen is located in a peaceful houseboat community, making it the perfect base for guests seeking a quiet retreat while discovering the city.
The Space
The studio features a cozy lounge area with a kitchenette and a comfortable sofa. From here, you have direct access to the terrace. The bedroom is located on an elevated level above the living room and is accessible via a ladder. It is good to note that this might not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges. The double bed and window create a charming and light-filled sleeping area.

Parking at Casa Karen – Convenient and Secure
Are you arriving by car? No worries, there are convenient parking options available. Follow these steps for a hassle-free arrival:
1. Reserve a Secure Parking Spot:
- To ensure a safe parking space, we recommend reserving a spot in advance via ParkBee Het Dok.
- ParkBee Het Dok is conveniently located and offers secure parking at competitive rates.
- Reserve easily online to guarantee a spot upon arrival.
2. Unload Your Luggage:
- Before parking your car, you can comfortably unload your luggage close to the houseboat. Drive to Buiksloterdijk 403.
- Here, you can make a brief stop to unload your bags and then proceed to the reserved parking spot.
3. Transport to and from the Parking Area:
- After parking at ParkBee Het Dok, you can easily walk back to Casa Karen or use public transport, Uber, or Bolt.
- Additionally, two bicycles are included with your stay, allowing you to move swiftly and flexibly between the houseboat and the parking area.
